Description
Car manufacturer Škoda Auto, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, has announced the creation of 2,168 new jobs. According to latest media reports, the recruitment started in January 2011.
The main reason for the latest recruitment wave is that Skoda plans to launch several new models and double production by 2018. On 1 January 2011, the company had 23,558 employees earning on average CZK 32,000 (EUR 1,319.72 USD 1,895.29) per month. The record recruitment of 468 people occurred in July 2011.
