European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Airbus Germany will recruit 1000 new staff for company's production facilities at Hamburg-Finkenwerder, Bremen and Stade. Airbus management representative reported that there will be 800 new jobs in Hamburg-Finkenwerder and 200 more in Bremen and Stade. Planned job creation will be realised in order to meet the increasing demand in orders ( at the Finkenwerder plant, 40 instead of 36 A320 planes will be produced). The new job positions will primarily be in engineering, project management and customer services.
