Description

Railways operator Societatea Naţională de Transport Feroviar de Călători CFR Călători is to dismiss 1,000 employees by the end of July 2011. The job cuts are part of the measures negotiated and agreed with the International Monetary Fund in order to decrease the state budget deficit. This will be partly achieved by restructuring state-owned companies.
