European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
UBI Banca, one of the main Italian banking groups, announced the 2011-15 reorganisation plan. The plan envisages a wide reorganisation at the branch level and 1,000 job-losses by the 2015. The trade unions harshly criticised the bank plan. Ubi Banca has around 19,700 employees.
