Description
Kongsberg Automotive, a car components factory, has announced plans to move production to Poland resulting in the loss of 138 jobs. Some manufacturing functions will continue in Burton and this will affect approximately 15 production jobs. A further 23 employees will stay on in various functions including sales and purchasing. The management said workers would start to leave the company on 27 July with the transfer period set to end on 28 October.
