Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 11 July 2011, waste management company Czyścioch started the construction of the new facility in Studzianki nearby Wasilków (Podlaskie Voivodeship) where 100 people will be hired.
The sorting department and factory of alternative fuel made from waste are expected to be opened by the end of 2011. The investment is worth 55 million PLN (approx. 13.7 million EUR). This investment has caused some concerns among some local residents, because they were not informed about planned fuel production, but according to the local authorities the investment is legal and completely safe for health.
Established in 1992, Czyścioch is a waste management company which operates in Białystok and the Podlaskie Voivodeship (Province).
