European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Capita, the UK's business process outsourcing (BPO), plans to open a BPO service centre in Kraków in autumn 2011. The company has announced that the centre will employ 500 people within the next 18 months - 100 of them will be hired by the end of 2011.
The Capita service centre will provide administrative, IT, HR, finance and accounting services to clients in Poland as well as other European countries. Established in 1984 in the UK, Capita is an outsourcing company which operates in the UK, Ireland and India.
