Deachang Seat, a South Korea-based automotive parts provider, plans to create 150 new jobs in Třinec city. The company wants to invest between 7 and 8 million EUR for the construction of a new manufacturing site producing iron seat frames. Production will be launched in the first quarter of 2012.
The company was founded in 1979 and has started operations in the Czech Republic three years ago. Deachang Seat now operates in Hrabova industrial zone of the Ostrava city where it employs some 250 people. Final number of staff at the Třinec plant is expected to be up to 500 over next 3 to 4 years.
