European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Chemical giant BASF will cut 425 jobs out of 600 at Grenzach, Baden-Wuerttemberg, until December 2012. Management and Works Council agreed on a social plan in June 2011. Out of the 425 employees, 75 have already left the company. It is expected that 40 jobs will be cut until the end of 2011.
