Description
London Fire Brigade (LFB) has announced that it is to recruit 150 new posts. The brigade announced the move amidst budget cuts in an attempt to reduce overtime pay and to ensure more firefighters on the front line. The Fire Brigades Union said the new recruits will only cover existing staff shortfalls, and will not improve front-line services.
