Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The German subsidiary of US management consultant company A.T. Kearney announced 100 new jobs to be created in 2011. These job losses result from an increase of revenues by 12% up to € 221 million in 2010. After opening branch offices in Istanbul and Johannesburg last year in order to exploit the growth potential of these markets, A.T. Kearney (Germany) currently has 587 employees.
