The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Vemont, a construction company located in Velenje has filed for bankruptcy and 128 employees will lose their job. Aside from the nagtive effect of the crisis hitting the Slovenian construction sector, specific Vemont's business failure is due to the bankruptcy of its parent company Vegrad d.d. (see factsheet ID 16173) as well as the lack of resources to relaunch business activities.
