Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
US company ZAGG International Distribution Ltd and its partner, CREGG Logistics, have together announced the creation of 170 new jobs in the Shannon Region, with the support of Shannon Development Agency. The company produces screen shields for personal electronic devices including iPhones, mobile phones, and laptops. ZAGG's parent operation is headquartered in Utah and it will initially create 40 new jobs in sales & marketing, product design and administrative activities as part of a European expansion.
ZAGG has partnered with a new firm, CREGG Logistics, that will produce and distribute the full range of ZAGG products. CREGG will create 130 new jobs over two years.
