Rosenberger Hungary, the Hungarian unit of German electronics company Rosenberger, plans to hire 300 more people at its expanded plant and warehouse in central Hungary, raising the total number of employees to 1,600.
After six months, Rosenberger Hungary has completed a €3.5 million expansion of its plant and warehouse. The company decided to expand its plant in response to a steady increase in orders and it expects that this expansion will help to increase the annual net revenue to HUF 5 billion from the current HUF 3.5 billion.
Following the investment which was financed with the company's own resources, the warehouse area was expanded to 5,000 square meters and the production area to 7,000 square meters.
Rosenberger Hungary manufactures primarily cables and connectors for car makers and telecommunications companies. In 2009, the company employed 550 employees.
