Description
Revoz, a car manufacturer owned by French Renault, is to cut 520 jobs by abolishing the third shift. The number of employees will be reduced from 2,461 to 1,941. Both employees on fixed-term contracts (130) and temporary agency work contracts (390) will be affected by this restructuring.
The production of cars will be reduced because of the lack of electronic parts for cars which is, in turn, due to lower supplies from Japanese suppliers following the earthquake.
