Steria, an IT consultancy company, has announced its plan to recruit 1,200 new employees in 2011, 95% of them will be offered indefinite contracts. Two thirds of the workforce will be recruited in Ile-de-France and the rest in different sites all over France. More than half of the jobs will be offered to young graduates, interns and apprentices.
Steria, founded in 1969, provides consulting services for its clients' core business processes, and develops and operates their information systems. The company has 20,000 employees working in 16 countries. It is listed on the Euronext Paris market.
