The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
LB-Hus, a Swedish manufacturer of MMC timber frame homes, announced a total reduction of 78 jobs. The first announcement concerned the loss of 20 jobs affecting blue-collar workers in Bromölla; in a subsequent announcement the company unveiled plans to cut another 41 jobs (34 blue-collar jobs and 7 white-collar jobs) in Stockholm and 17 white-collar jobs in Bromölla. The company has been hit hard by the economic crisis and has experienced decreasing sales.
