Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Nemak Győr is to create 175 jobs at the aluminium cylinder-head plant of its production hall in Győr (Hungary) in order to accommodate a substantial increase in orders from AUDI, Renault and General Motors in the region. Nemak Gyor received HUF 550 million government support for the HUF 1.6 billion investment.
Nemak specializes in the production of aluminum cylinder heads, engine blocks and transmission parts, among other aluminum components for automotive applications since it was founded in 1979. The company has 27 manufacturing facilities located in 12 different countries in Asia, Europe and North & South America, and employs approximately 15,000 employees worldwide.
Update: On 3 August 2012 Nemak opened its site with 200 new hires.
