Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The IT company Ausy has announced plans to recruit 1,100 engineers throughout 2011. The firm recruited 800 employees in 2010 and has a total workforce of 2,300 employees. The recent job creation is attributed to the significant increase (+75%) in net profits in 2010.
The group envisages the creation of 550 jobs in Ile-de-France (+50%), 100 jobs in West France (+15%), 60 jobs in the Centre (+14%), 50 jobs in Rhône-Alpes (+117%), 170 jobs in South-West (+32%) and 150 jobs in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (+45%).
