Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
In 2010, the day-nursery network, Les Petits Chaperons Rouges, recruited 600 employees. The network manages 105 sites accommodating 5000 children per week. By the end of the year, the network will have more than 130 child care centres. Its turnover increased from 44 million euro in 2009 to 57 million euro in 2010.
The group employed 1.600 people in early 2011, of whom 300 were hired in 2010. The group operates mainly in Ile-de-France, Rhône-Alpes and Paca. It is now expanding in Alsace, Lorraine, Languedoc-Roussillon and Aquitaine.
