Description
The Centre of Employment, Social Affairs and Family (UPSVAR), dismissed 568 of their nearly 8,000 employees between November 2010 and January 2011. Dismissals were attributed to government austerity measures meant to reduce expenditures in public employment services. All dismissed employees received a severance package of 2600 Euros.
