Description
North Lincolnshire Council has announced that it is to cut 550 posts in an attempt to address a 10% cut in its budget requiring £15m of savings to be made next year as a result of government funding cuts. Included in the cuts is a reduction in its senior management team from 12 posts to 7 saving a total of £380,000. The council has already cut 200 posts in the last year bringing the total job cuts to 750.
