Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Salford Council announced plans to cut 380-500 jobs across its services. The local authority was hopeful that most job losses would be through voluntary redundancy and natural wastage. The council admitted that it would not be possible to make this level of job cuts without impacting front line services.
