European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Syrian owned German company, Biotech Ltd, has opened a nearly two thousand square meter medical supplies manufacturing plant in Pest County Diósd. The plant will begin operating with 100 employees which and the company plans to have 200-250 employees wokring at the plant in the near future. The planned turn over for 2011 is HUF 5 billion (EUR 18 million).
The Biotech Group is a leading manufacturer and distributor of medical products. The Biotech manufacturing facilities are located in EU countries (Germany, Hungary) where Orthopaedic, Trauma and Spine implants are produced and also possess the necessary CE quality assurance system.
