Health insurance company VZP ČR has announced that it is to cut 150 jobs out of a total 4,500 staff across the Czech Republic. The workforce reduction is to begin in early 2011 and about 10% of the personnel at Prague's headquarters will be the first to be affected. According to company spokesman Jiří Rod, regional departments of the company have been reducing the number of employees since 2009. Approximately a total of 670 employees are to be dismissed between 2009 and 2013.
