European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 18 November 2010, the car manufacturer Porsche announced to create some 100 jobs. The company stated that it was looking for engineers for its research and development activities. With the higher number of engineering staff, the company seeks to strengthen its competence centre in Weissach where sport cars are developed. Currently 3,000 employees are working at the centre in Weissach.
