Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Agrostroj Pelhrimov, a Czech producer of agricultural machines, is to create 100 new jobs by mid-February 2011. The company, currently employing 1,200 people, is looking for manual workers and technicians. According to personal manager Zdenek Pavlovsky, the company's economic outlook has been slowly improving. All employees will be given an average salary increase of 3 percent.
