European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 8 November 2010 food group Danone announced it will concentrate its R&D centre in Utrecht, the Netherlands and create 450 new jobs. Reportedly, this business expansion is attributed to the high quality of nutrition-related scientific research in the Netherlands. Another reason for the decision is the central and convenient location of the Utrecht centre.
