Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

On 20 December 2010, the Regional Health Agency (Agence régionale de santé - ARS) announced that the public hospital of Meaux will be required to reduce its workforce by 300 or 12% of its total workforce in 2011. The redundancy plan is direct result of hospital's 8.7m Euro loss. The cuts will be made through retirement and through the non-renewal of existing short-term contracts.
