European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 9 December 2010, the management of SIAC announced the closure of the plant located near Douai, and the 145 permanent employees will lose their jobs. The precise date of the closure is unknown. The plant manufactures tractor cabs and lost a major contract with the tractor constructor CLAAS, representing 40% of the company's sales volume.
