The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 2 December 2010, the management of the information and technology company Cap Gemini announced it will be recruiting 120 employees in 2011 to work in its Rennes plant. Cap Gemini will recruit mostly engineers to deal with the corresponding transfer of work from Paris to Rennes, without any job losses being experienced in Paris. Currently the company employs 20,000 people in France.
