European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 11 December 2010, a futniture producer, mainly focusing on production chairs, Javor Pohištvo from Ilirska Bistrica announced internal restructure and 150 people will be made redundant. The company has entered into troubles during the current economic recession because of reduced orders. As a result, Javor Pohištvo is now in the process of compulsory settlement. The company currently has a workforce of 240 people but 150 will lose jobs by end February 2011.
