Description
On 22 November 2010, the daily Die Welt reported that the union IG Metall, i.e. the German Metal Workers' Union, will cut 125 jobs at its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main. Job cuts are to be implemented by natural fluctuation, such as (partial) retirements. The union announced to restructure its organisation and the staff reduction is to take place within the next four years.
