On 23 November 2010, 3M Poland announced plans to build a plant producing parts for diesel engines in Wrocław and employ 100 people. The company envisage the opening of the factory by June 2011. 3M is an American corporation, which produces over 55,000 products. The American company operates in more than 60 countries. 3M has been operating in Poland since 1991. The company has three plants and employs over 1,200 people in Poland. The current investment of 3M is the second in Wrocław - the first plant in Wrocław produces accessories for aerospace industry.
