Description
On 3 November 2010, German company Carthago, which, in 2008, relocated part of its production of motor homes from Germany to Slovenia, announced further expansion and will hire additional 151 workers (see factsheet ID 11407).
The factory is located in Odranci, village in the North-East part Slovenia known for the highest unemployment rate in the country. Initial employment of 150 people has already increased by 41 workers and will further increase by another 110 after finishing the investment in new capacities. Carthago will have a total workforce of 301 by the beginning of 2012.
