European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
České dráhy (Czech Railways), the second biggest employer in the country (26,815 employees), is to cut between 500 and 600 jobs by the end of 2010. The restructuring will mainly affect employees in administrative positions. The company has already eliminated approximately 1,100 posts in the sector since the beginning of 2010.
