Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Shannon Aerospace is cutting 100 jobs from its Shannon Airport-based business as part of a wider restructuring programme for the German-owned company. The company has attributed the redundancies to an unsustainable cost base.
