European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Madeta, the largest Czech diary supplier, has announced 100 cuts to its 1,700 person workforce by mid-2011 due to the global financial crisis. About 168 workers have already been dismissed this year. The company's restructuring plan also includes the closure of two out of their six diary plants. As of October 2010, there is no information on which factories will be affected.
