Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 5 October 2010, Polish IT company Comarch announced an additional recruitment of 200 IT experts by the end of 2010. The new jobs are attributed to an increase in orders. In an earlier announcement dated April 2010 (fact sheet 15342) Comarch announced that it planned to hire just 100 people, but recently the company has changed their plan and doubled the number.
Comarch was founded in 1993 in Kraków. The company has offices in several cities in Poland and provide a range of services including billing, enterprise resource planning systems (ERP), IT security, IT architecture, management and outsourcing solutions, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and sales support.
