Restructuring events
European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 16 September 2010 consultancy firm BMC announced that it will eliminate 140 jobs, which represents about 10% of its total workforce. BMC employs consultants that work with local municipalities. In 2009, BMC still employed 1,800 consultants. Following the new measures, some 1,500 employees will remain in the company.
