Description
On 2 September 2010, the Taiwanese company, Foxconn, which took over the Sony plant in Nitra, will create about 500 new jobs by the end of February 2011. The business expansion is attributed to the start of production of new types of LCD TVs. According to Foxconn PR manager's statement released in mid January 2011, the TV producing company will actually recruit 900 new employees. The employment effect will start in February-March 2011. The management estimates a 50% increase in TV production in 2011.
