Description
The Spanish bank Santander has announced plans to create 400 call center jobs in the UK due to a rapid growth in its business. Most of the new jobs will be created in Liverpool, Leicester and Glasgow. The bank acquired Abbey, Alliance & Leicester and parts of Bradford & Bingley in 2008 and has a total of 22,500 staff in the UK. As of 27 September 2010 no date has been given for the creation of the new jobs.
