The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The British bank Barclays is dismissing 285 of the 1,100 employees currently working in the strategic centre for technologies and services in Lithuania (Vilnius). The company is reconsidering its activity worldwide, and will relocate 244 of the 285 jobs in UK and other non-EU countries.
