European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Intereuropa, the largest Slovenian freight company, located in Koper in the Obalno-kraška region, announced 171 job reductions.
Due to economic downturn and consequent reduction of orders in the recent years, the company cut employment by 17%, i.e. from 990 at the beginning of 2009 to 819 at the end of August 2010.
