European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 14 September 2010 the American company IC Medical, a manufacturer of electro-surgical appliances, announced their intention to open a new factory in Orastie, which would create 150 new jobs. The new plant opening was made possible by a 1.5 million euro annual contract with Chemical Drastic.
