Sitel, a company which operates call centers, announced its intention to cut 200 jobs at its site in Diegem (Flanders). In September, the management announced its decision to close its call center in Geel (Flanders) which created 116 job reductions. Negotiations with trade unions will start soon. "We cannot confirm exactly the number of job losses because our activity is very sensitive to market fluctuations but we will try to limit the social impact", said Inge Verdoodt, the regional manager.
