European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Iskra Avtoelektrika, a manufacturer of alternators, starter motors and other products for the automotive industry, has hired 260 new employees since the beginning of 2010 for its site in Šempeter pri Gorici. The new employees have been granted fixed term contracts. The company experienced massive layoffs in 2008 and 2009 (see factsheet ID 14136), but the business upswing has allowed them to begin rebuilding their workforce.
