Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Lithuanian Labour Market Training Authority intends to dismiss 159 employees in different Lithuanian regions by the beginning of October 2010. The Lithuanian Labour Market Training Authority, which aims at developing adult vocational training, guidance and counselling in Lithuania, is undergoing a restructuring which will result in the closure of all 7 local labour market training and consultancy offices, employing 159 employees. The Lithuanian Labour Market Training Authority was established by the Ministry of Social Security and Labour in 1992.
