European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 17 July 2010, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported that the car manufacturer BMW is to create 350 jobs. The new employees are to work on the development of electric vehicles. The group employed a total of around 96,230 staff in 2009.
