Description
On 3 August 2010, staircase renovation company Upstairs filed for bankruptcy. According to a spokesperson, the loss of turnover in the renovation of stairs was due to negative publicity after a television boradcast by a consumer organisation. The receiver announced that all 167 employees will lose their jobs. In the meantime, a search is conducted to find potential buyers to take over part of the activities.
